At its core, REACH is about population and community health, which includes promoting health for all people. Our work aims to reduce the disproportionate burden of social determinants that put specific populations at increased risk for severe illness and death. We understand that the health of a community includes components like economic stability, education access and quality, healthcare access and quality, healthy and safe neighborhoods, and social and community cohesion. We recognize that this work requires continuous effort, thoughtful discussions, and oftentimes, uncomfortable introspection.
